21 June 2010, 2:14 pm This is my contribute to the poolside mixter.. even if it's almost dark and nightly (here's raining, and that's my mood). I really enjoyed this challenge, giutar samples aren't easy to treat properly, so I played a lot with filters and aux tracks.. and here's what I managed to mix down :) Chill out, listen, perhaps enjoy it!
well, man.. (ceci n'est pas un remix)
22 March 2010, 7:58 pm This is not a remix for sure, this is a real work in progress, with barely acceptable sound and really lacking composition.. I have no excuse except forgetting my external HD somewhere, and losing a great part of this project. So, this is not a remix, it's a work in progress I'm going to care in the next future, because I've just discovered a new favourite artist in here, and I'd love to show him what I think he deserve :) So, ladies and gentleman, make your ears ready because you're going to listen a complete unmixed, unbalanced, raw idea...
14 February 2010, 1:49 am This one was supposed to be a soundtrack, but the project collapsed and I had some spare time to mix it all. 14 instrument tracks, by the way: perhaps my biggest mix ever.. wish I had some more mastering practice!
4 November 2009, 2:21 pm Another secret_mixter round I'm proud to join, this time a little bit harder.. Here's a wicked dub version directly inspired from Tenny's acappella, mashed up with my latest hearings and the sound I'm craving for. Hope you'll like it as much as I enjoyed crafting it :)
21 October 2009, 10:15 am First advance track from my upcoming EP, and first one with full unmixed tracks on ccmixter! Download, fire up your DAW and enjoy!
26 August 2009, 10:07 am My own version of Rewired's "In My Dreams", slightly dubby with a soul mood, hope you'll like it. EDIT 3.30 pm: new mixdown, almost working now :)
16 February 2009, 11:56 am My first secret mixter, and my first year ccMixing, double celebration! I'm really proud to introduce you to this nice blend of Morusque's samples and my personal confused mind. Hope you'll like it. Long live ccMixter.
3 February 2009, 1:26 am This is a strange samplepack I'm going to give you, maybe it will help secret mixers around here.. Here's some samples from a two nights live festival I've recorded; while I'm working at the cd/mp3 mastering of the whole festival (soon online under a CC license near you :) enjoy some unmixed, unedited samples.
26 January 2009, 10:46 am Here's my first sample pack, just because I feel the need to give something back to the community. Maybe someone will find its sample in this pack and build something awesome. By the way, if you like the sample but need it a little different, just ask, I'll cut a special version of it (this pack is completely midi-generated via Ableton Live and some of my personal instrument rack). Enjoy!
16 December 2008, 10:08 pm Another moment in my personal OST. Here's an advance from my ongoing work, mixed up with (another) one amazing recording found on ccmixter. Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I love this one. edit: also available the raw instrumental mix, as alternate download.
Music Improvement (gmz running rmx)
5 October 2008, 5:07 pm I feel this remix like a soundtrack for something I'm experiencing in these days. Time to run, time to improve. edit: just replaced the mp3, because I uploaded the wrong mixdown :)
16 July 2008, 6:43 pm Back2Mixter is my celebration for being able again to mixdown something for the Mixter. I really missed this! That's because my old ibook died two weeks ago, and my new macbook also was accidentaly injured after just a week, so I had some really awful days. After being able to get another macbook, the first thing I've done is this track, and 24 hours later I'd like to give you that one. I like the mood of it, somewhat reminder of 70's soundtracks, while I hate the bassline... either I'll need to learn midi or to find a funky bass player...
27 June 2008, 4:57 am This is my re-mix of the awesome J.Lang mashup. Ok, this is not really a 'fresh' item, but I worked a lot on it, so here it is.. :-) Also ships with a voiceless mix, if someone would like to use it (again) please take the alternate mix. This two track sampler is also available on Jamendo Thanks goes to Emonic for the acappella, J.Lang for the mashup concept, DjVadim and BuckyJohnson to let me sample them!
KilledKilledKilled (gmz redub)
4 March 2008, 3:03 am Instead of KillKillKill, actually I'm feeling killedkilledkilled. Quick and really dirty re-dub, because a dub was needed.
29 February 2008, 2:21 am Another panic day. Otra vez. Time passes and I keep sighting, but I need to keep on. a round beat helps. I choose to use only samples and to avoid instruments or midi, this time. That's what I used to do some years ago, and I miss it a lot. This track's sample are 4/5 DJ Vadim, with a small Bucky Johnson flavour.
21 February 2008, 2:26 pm That's how I feel in these days. I'm sad, but I can't do anything to stop this, so I'm trying to lose myself in music, which is always a smart move to get even worse. I'm actually a stranger between two different sides of me, which I can't understand either. Three sides to every story, three different sounds inside this track, three different feelings in my mind. And I need to keep myself up and running, even if somewhat broken, even if someone does not care.
15 February 2008, 2:11 am I think that my Saturday base fits almost perfectly with this really great vocals by Rania Kurdi. Thank you Mentor Records!
15 February 2008, 12:15 am Porta Palazzo, the heart of Torino (Italy), on Saturday afternoon. Peoples, fruitstands, sun, some friends and some beers. the bouzouki sample is from a public domain library ( http://tinyurl.com/237oe9 ), everything else is midi or vsti. except the bass sound :-)
14 February 2008, 11:55 pm my first attempt at ccmixing, back to november 2006, finally where it was supposed to be. Probably I'm missing one sample in the credits, the 'if... I...' one, if someone find out what it is please tell me! :-)
